“When we have an overload of television programming, internet information, social media, entertainment and news, we become distracted from connecting with our own authentic spirit. When we tune in to self-care and actualize it in our daily lives we create strength, balance and peace of mind.” ~ Dena Leigh Carter, author of “Loving Who You Are, A Self-Care Guide to Nurture Your Body, Spirit, Mind.”
The official book signing for “Loving Who You Are” was held October 2016 at Bloomsbury Books in Ashland, Oregon. And what a sweet evening it was! Excerpts from the book were read, self-care Q&A, and powerful conversations about self-love and value.
Connecting with the community was special and brought me greater insight into how much we all crave connecting with one another – not just through books and social media – but face to face. Being in the presence of other beings can honor and inspire where we’ve been, who we are now and where/how we want to grow in to the future.
I’m jazzed to be able to share my new book with you, “Loving Who You Are.” The great thing about the book is, it’s under 54 pages and totally do-able in this day and age of information overload. It’s time to connect with your authentic spirit even more with a little self-care. Feel free to comment, I’d love to hear from you!
